Well there goes his greatness run. His one big question mark, Durability comes back to haunt him.
torn Knee ligament. LCL. Won't need surgery but no time table on when he'll be able to return. seeing as how the vikings are 3 and 6 now, Chances are they might shut AP down for the year. I highly doubt they'll be able to run the table and make it to the playoffs. They have bigger issues at QB to deal with.
You thought the Vikings were going to the playoffs?
As a Vikings fan, this never crossed my mind.
I said I doubt they'll be able to run the table ie go 7-0 in their last 7 games, and end up 10-6 to have a shot of making wild card. Thus it might be worth shutting AP down for the year rather than resting him for a few weeks then put him out there. The way AP runs he's gonna get hit often. Why risk the best thing you have on a season that pretty much over with. They have issues at quarterback that need to be solved.

The Giants are probably kicking themselves for cutting Ryan Grant.
Giants have a good running game and are deep at RB, but still.

Despite all the praises and accolades AP has garnered this season don't we all think it is a little soon to be crowning his ass? (Thank you Denny Green) I mean we have no idea if he is durable over the long haul or if he can sustain this for 16 consecutive weeks. Don't rookies usually crap out around week 11? Not hating just trying to give this thread a reality check.
Green Bay certainly brought him back down to earth!

His durability can certainly be called in to question.
He wasnt that durable in college, so its likely he wont have a long career in the pros. Most RBs arent Emitt Smith, et al, they dont typically have long career. AP doesnt have the durability to go more than 4-5 years in the NFL.
