And, no, that's not the worst bit of feedback I received as a graduate student from someone with a doctorate. I'm halfway convinced that the Ph.D + tenure process rips a tiny hole in one's brain where certain things endlessly are siphoned into, never to be heard from or seen again.
At least they have an excuse for being totally uncompetitive in the x86 marketplace...
Maybe unprofitable, but hardly uncompetitive. I don't see any Intel-powered consoles. I also don't see a CPU + motherboard that cost me $133.75 with tax from Intel that manages to encode h.265 at the very slow quality setting in my bedroom at a speed that won't require a week per video.
