Advice on Home Theater Speaker deal needed!

So I have an offer to me of the following:

Digital Audio 2002 Professional Surround Sound Speakers. New in the box. 800 watt system includes 4 surround speakers as well as center channel speaker and huge subwoofer. The price on them is $1999.00. I got them wholesale and I'm asking $200. Warranty card included.


I called the guy and he says these speakers are brand new, which of course makes me skeptical. Any ideas on these speakers, are they actually worth $200.. I mean an 800 Watt system sounds impressive, and I found a couple other websites mentioning a digital audio speaker system of 800W that has a list of $1999... but I dont know anything about these speakers!

they are flooded all over eBay along with a brand called Dogg Digital Audio.

Read 1 web page of many here.
I ran across them when looking at speakers...
since yer on a huge tight budget i have found speakers that are awesome Value...
look up the Fluance 5 speaker setup on ebay...
read nothing but praise about them. they can be hab for 250$ shipped.
i read that they rock on dozens of forums and threads.

I figured it was a scam, but couldnt find much regarding the speakers (the most damn info I could find was on ebay.. where they are selling for $150)... so I posted here. Thanks for the help XCLAN and others.
