I just got a bunch of new storage today 1 ea Fantom Greendrive Esata External 2tb
and a 1.5 tb WD15EARS w/ 64mb Cache. I usually manage my system and os's through partitioning and storing nothing on my C:// drive aside from the OS and installed software this way I can change reformat ugrade/downgrade at will and not lose anything. My question is this; should I go about getting my boot/OS partition on my new HDD(1.5 WD15EARS) or leave it where it is now, i.e. 150GB partition of one of the 640's. I guess I'm wondering if the extra 32 MB of Cache will better serve my system with the primary partition/os using the 64, or is it better suited as a secondary storage drive aiding in data transfer of larger files?
Am I making any sense at all?
Thanks in advance for your help.
