Cm 612 is prolly crap. Change it. 4.4 needs high end air with ivy or even h80 or so. Use fans at full speed still

from reviews id checked they didnt look too bad but for some reason i cant get the fan to go above 1250rpm and the image above shows it running at 2krpm i wonder if its coz mine is an hyper 612s....... anyways im gona reseat the cooler tomorrow and check what happens with that

as for the case its an old case aurora ebox it has room for another 80mm fan on the back and front which i add duno how much difference it will make tho

Is the fan connected to the motherboard header? If so maybe look around in your bios options to see what it's set to.

Your case could be causing your issues with temp. Maybe try running with the side cover off to see if it helps your temps. If temps are better then airflow is an issue.

Fan control looks strange to me but going off what I read and images as I don't have the mb to play with. I couldn't find and image of the cpu fan control memu exploded.

Fan controls come under the PC Health menu as per usual, and Gigabyte are still deciding to stick with an almost incomprehensible method of allowing users to customize their fan settings. By offering options in 'PWM Value / ºC', the only thing the user will understand is 'more means more power'. I would rather this actually had temperatures related to it, or some sort of in-BIOS graphing system to show what is actually happening.

Nice, glad you got it figured out. I nearly made the same mistake with my IB build. It happens.

Ha! That is an awesome experiment you unintentionlly ran there Now we know to what extent leaving the label on the HSF can impact the operating temps
