1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.
Gaming
2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread
$1200
3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
USA
4. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc.
None, just best performance/price
5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
Case, PSU CORSAIR HX Series CMPSU-1000HX 1000W, DVD.
6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads.
Not really
7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
Undecided
8. What resolution YOU plan on gaming with.
1920x1200
9. WHEN do you plan to build it?
Now, but I'd like to know if I should wait.
So my biggest question is if there's any technology worth waiting for coming out within the next couple months. I know in this industry there always is, but I guess I mean any major leap in performance cpu or video card wise coming soon?
I would also like to include an SSD in the budget.
My current system is an E8500, gtx 260 sli, 8gb ram if you need to know.
Thanks
