This guy just dropped the truth on the whole situation. And now the white supremacists are sitting on the curb crying because Trump drained their boys out from the swamp instead of getting rid of the Wall Street billionaires like he promised them. Bannon and Gorka got kicked out like a couple of dirty Mexicans. HAHAHA funny stuff. Trump is loyal to himself alone.

Bannon is an oddly tormented man. I think some of his ideas are actually decent towards a number of working schmucks. But the route he goes to implement them is batshit insane. It's like somewhere in his festering gob of hate and resent is actually a small flickering speck of humanity.

Trump is still pandering to them for all it's worth...

I can't blame Trumka for trying to work with the Trump Admin. He laid it out pretty well, I think. It's just... impossible.

Trumka: I Can’t Work With Racists, Wall Streeters in White House

Yet he and his ilk had no problem apologizing and looking the other way for their corporate bought and paid for democrat party puppet masters whether it was outsourcing or insourcing (h1b's and illegals) in order to bypass all the wages, rights, rules and regulations that they love to harp about when someone asks what good are unions doing today.

Supportive links would be helpful

Wouldn't be unfair to say the same about hitler. I mean, he really did seem to care about many germans, just not so much the others.

Ripping them off how, exactly?
Depends on which alt-right site you visit. Some claim union organizing is where the funds go, others claim it's actually an arm of the DNC.

One thing they do all have in common is a complete lack of proof for what they claim. The link above reference some sort of fine print that doesn't seem to exist on the site.

They just leap instantly to the conclusion the right wing media holds out to them. Taj is the kind of guy who goes twitchy whenever anybody says "Union", anyway.

It's arguable that the confederacy didn't really lose given ~40% of the country will still take a bullet to protect monuments to it.

AFL-CIO got burned just like all of those other folks that, in head shaking fashion, believed the 100% unadulterated bullshit that Trump was shoving down their throats during the 2016 campaign.

His lies were so obvious (just as they are to this very day), that I still can't believe how so many folks were gullible enough to believe that shit.

Desperate much?

Not only that but people have to remember that unions are businesses and their first loyalty is to themselves. With that said they see their memberships as a steady source of revenue and as such their first duty is to preserve their income streams. Their positions on matters are relative to their own survival first with membership concerns a distant second.

This is not the turn of the last century where there were no federal laws governing the workplace requiring the enactment of the National Labor Relations Act in 1935. Labor unions are in a death march and desperately seeking new members to fund their activities. In recent years the mutual exclusiveness of craft unions has given way to everyone is welcome just so they can remain afloat. Furthermore, public and private sector unions are merging to remain viable and this is their last ditch effort to remain functional as we move further into the 21st century.

The confederacy really did win. They have been sucking on the North's tit ever since.

Have there been any actual active efforts by Trump to reach out to union leadership and develop policy? It's too bad Trumka didn't realize sooner that Trump was only interested in looking like he cares about the little guy. Any actual action to make a difference won't happen unless it looks good. And probably look so good that it can't be true.

The Confederacy lost the Civil War. They won Reconstruction and won it big. They went just about undefeated between 1870 and 1955, by which point it wasn't so much "the South" as white people across the nation who wanted to perpetuate and live in white supremacy, who happened to be disproportionately well represented in the South. See also the traitors' flag and statues in Union states.
