After 8 years, Titan Quest finally got a patch.

But only for the Steam version.


Multiplayer servers are up again, some little fixes, and apparently new shaders and renderers.

Almost sure i've also picked up the steam version at some point. Didn't like what sounded like some difficulty you had to go through to change skills.

Not at all.
Theres a dude in each major town whose sole purpose is to undo your skill points. One click, no hassle.

But it does cost money.

There are better Diablo clones out there now.

Played the crap out of TQ. I don't have the steam version though. I think I played through it 5-6 times, so I doubt I'd want to go back, but it may be fun to see the upgraded graphics. Forgot if it was coop, but that might be fun online.

Well, the only updates to the graphics are some shaders. They didnt rebuild anything. Its just a patch.

I tried to play this game last year again after 6 years, and I was nodding off while playing it, that is how boring it got.

I completely forgot I owned this game through Steam. I have the original discs as well...also the expansion. But after reading this thread, I realized I had it in Steam, and in the last day...put 21 hours into it.

I own both the original and the Steam version. Been playing the game with my girlfriend through LAN. This is a good thing.

Also, Grim Dawn is made by the creators of Titan Quest, so if anyone loved TQ, pick up Grim Dawn. It just had it's full release a few days ago and has been simply amazing since Build 24.

Amazing! I remember how I was forced to use Hamachi with friends just to play together... Now, that's a thing of the past!

Really glad they did this. TitanQuest is easily as good if not better compared to Diablo 3.

I've probably played every D2 clone there is and spent a lot of hours on Titan Quest. It's fun and actually has a story, but it is about the most linear game in the genre, which takes away enormously from replayability.

yeah but its a weird beta patch you have to manually install.

I still like the game though.
