I agree though. I grew up in Sarasota and my parents currently live there.

Aside from about 2 days worth, there's nothing much to do. Sailing and the beaches are good, with a few decent restaurants around, but that's it.

prime example, today: sunny and humid as all hell in the morning, 90degrees F, at 4pm it dropped to 70 and started thunder storming like a mother Fer, that isnt even mentioning the 80degree days in febuary, followed by the 20 degree snow storms the very next day...

oh yeah, and we only have 2 seasons; winter and construction.

I live in Dallas Texas. We have a full 4 seasons.

Spring = 2 weeks of bliss, followed by lots of rain.
Summer = 6 months of blistering sunburning polluted hell.
Fall = (see Spring)
Winter = 2 months of coldness and 1 of ice storms (no snow).
