course i'm only basing it from pics on the various news sites, but WA (mainly Olympia & Centralia) got slammed.

The coast got hit with 100mph winds and lots of water. There was a city that was flooded so bad the whole thing was evacuated. Im pretty sure the I5 is still shut down. However in portland there was nothing big.

Well.... the snow storm was awesome, except for commuters... Second storm was ok, just high winds and some rain. Third storm was high winds with heavy rain. A lot of areas flooded. A white BMW drove straight into 3 feet of water and stalled during the third storm. Then trees in this path I take from the parking lot to another community college had more trees collapse. A roadway collapsed, taking 5 cars with it (some survived I think), and there were a bunch of landslides. Of course what sucked is the 5 hour blackout I just had after the storm was over (how do 30 mph winds take out power?).

Oh, and a lot of homes got flooded in WA. At least my home is on a hill .

I am told they had wind gusts to over 100 mph and electric is out. Buoys offshore are reporting very impressive swells. Glad I'm not there.

I'm in Wilsonville, it wasnt that bad here. Just debris in the streets and the Willamette is a little high. Vernonia is flooded again.

Sounds like another reason to not live in Vernonia, as if anyone needed more.

The wind took down the big transmission towers Like these ones.
I've never seen one of those blow down.

The SO's mom lives about a half hour south of Chehalis (Longview) in the hills and they are unable to get to town yet, both roads are still flooded.
