AG Barr continues to cover for Donald Trump instead of doing his job.

One question Barr refused to answer when he appeared before Congress if he briefed the White House before or since his release of his summary. He claimed he won't answer until the report is released.

Barr has scheduled a press conference Thursday morning (just before holiday weekend) a few hours BEFORE the redacted report is released. Members of Congress have not seen the report however NY Times has reported Barr has already briefed the White House on the report allowing them to get a heads up on shaping the narrative of the report.

Almost boring for me to say it: Narcissists have a compulsion to play their hands and spill the beans. I don't understand why the Base isn't listening, because Trump is oh, so . . so obvious. He's an open book: "Russia! If your listening!" "No collusion, No collusion!" is almost like Nixon saying "I'm not a crook!" It betrays his obsession with the worry of possibly being guilty of some type of collusion, if not the conspiracy type.

It isn't because I hate REpublicans, but you have to despise someone who can be so obsequious, blind to the Truth, and loyal beyond reason to someone who has raised the party to Oval Office power and lowered our country's standing in the world to the level of crocodile piss. It isn't that I just hate Trump because he's a Republican. I hate him because he behaves like the Spawn of Satan and the Anti-Christ -- and despising him goes beyond the word "hate".

The very fact that we are on the eve of release for Mueller's report of investigations into Russian meddling in the 2016 election is a reason to despise Trump on its face. Save "reasonable doubt" for the courtroom, or for that matter -- Congressional Impeachment hearings. I have enough evidence, and there are just way too many consistent, connected data points.

Let Jerry Nadler and the other committees and their chairs and staff sort through Mueller's report. Let them call Mueller and members of his team to testify -- which they will.

There is already reason to impeach without the report. The only real problem here is the collective cowardice of the sycophant House and Senate GOP wretches. Wrong is wrong; blind loyalty in the face of wrongdoing is unpatriotic, irresponsible, and simply stupid. They are collectively fiddling while Rome burns, like Nero.

He's obviously trying to protect Barr if he actually said that nonsense. Media is going into a frenzy over it, but it looks like it's not as big of a bombshell as it first appeared when i didn't read the article.

I think it's very big. I figure Mueller will ultimately say it's not his place or Barr's to make a judgement about obstruction but rather that of Congress. The fundamental disagreement is that Barr took it upon himself the exonerate Trump when Mueller would not. Barr is trying to usurp the power of the HOR in making any judgement at all. Hell- Longstanding DoJ policy is that a sitting president can't be indicted so it's a moot point anyway.

Exactly what I've been thinking. How absolutely weak the Democrats are. Lynch had to recuse herself because she met with Clinton's husband for 5 minutes who happens to be an ex-President. Yet Trump can call the Attorney General into his office to talk about a case against him he is handling and we just confirmed an Attorney General who before he got confirmed wrote an oped basically weighing in on that case and refused to recuse himself. Absolutely mind boggling what the Republicans get away with.
