Looks like even Barr may have his limits:

President Trump wanted Attorney General William P. Barr to hold a news conference declaring the commander in chief had broken no laws during a phone call in which he pressed his Ukrainian counterpart to investigate a political rival, though Barr ultimately declined to do so, people familiar with the matter said.

The request from Trump traveled from the president, to other White House officials, and eventually to the Justice Department. The president has mentioned Barr’s declination to associates in recent weeks, saying he wished Barr would have held the news conference, Trump advisers say.

In recent weeks, the Justice Department has sought some distance from the White House, particularly on matters relating to the burgeoning controversy over Trump’s dealings on Ukraine and the impeachment inquiry they sparked.

LOL, “Yo AG, my number one lawyer! Remember that thing you did with the Mueller Report? Can you do that press conference thing again for Ukraine? Just tell everyone we broke no laws... or at least that I broke no laws. K thx bye!”

Barr is way too busy working on his "investigate the investigators because spying" song & dance to wade into this. He also can't tell what's going on in advance, either, so he can't shape what's coming out. He can't help Trump with it because he has no authority & hasn't investigated anything, anyway. He probably doesn't want to answer any questions about what happened after Trump told Zelensky to call him, either.

CONSIDER....
All the crap that Donald Trump is mixed up with and all the crap falling down on Donald Trump's head i.e. impeachment, Ukraine, testimony, discovery, etc etc, with all this is it any wonder that Donald Trump would... in a panic... call on those around him for MORE and MORE favors, more and more loyalty, more and more PLEASE HELP ME.

William Barr is simply pooped, stressed, pushed to his limit.
Face it.... lying for Donald Trump is a 24/7 job. Not too many people could shoulder that burden and not eventually ask themselves FOR GODS SAKE WILL THIS NEVER END?
WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO, CHANGE MY PHONE NUMBER?
FOR GODS SAKE DONALD.... JUST CHILL.

However the truth of the matter is, we will all know exactly how far this has gone with Bill Bar and we will all find out if there is a limit and what that limit is WHEN Donald Trump begins bad mouthing William Barr.
Remember.... everything that Donald Trump comes in contact with turns to shit.
Everything Donald Trump is involved with turns to shit.
And every single individual that Donald Trump comes in contact with will eventually evolve from friend into foe.
Donald Trump has no friends. Donald Trump only collects enemies. William Barr will be no different.
Just ask Jeff Sessions how that works.....

Barr is nothing more than a useful idiot helping his boss, the Godfather of Useful Idiots being useful to our enemies.

In other news, those Trump supporters whose only concern is how much profit they can wring out of Trump's and the GOP's decidedly lopsided bias towards them are just as guilty as Barr and Trump's base for allowing their Russian controlled monstrosity under the alias of "POTUS" to run amok.

Let the nation burn down into a heap of ashes so long as Trump is leading the way? Is that it?

Ok follow the bouncing ball while I explain foreign policy vs personal favors...

Stop abusing your people or I will cut off your aid. GOOD!!
Give me dirt on my most likely political opponent in 2020 or I will cut off your aid. BAD!!

Do you need me to dumb it down further?? These are both quid pro quos however quid pro quo is not the real issue.

Citation:
Right, so the Ukraine had someone not doing their job (halting corruption), so the US pressured them to get rid of that guy in favor of someone better, in exchange for benefits.

Yes, that is technically quid pro quo (as most agreements are). It is not 'corruption', in fact the entire intent was to reduce corruption. By all accounts it did exactly that.

Do you see the difference between a US policy benefiting relations and tamping down corruption, and a President exerting influence for personal gain?

Biden's quid pro quo was a good thing because it furthered US policy in Ukraine.

Trump's quid pro quo was a bad thing because it harmed US policy in Ukraine to help Trump personally.

This is extremely simple for anyone to understand, it's all just a question if you're not interested in understanding it because it means admitting that Biden was right and Trump is a criminal.

And yet in the Trump case, ALL quid pro quo's are impeachable defenses, right?
Did you actually read the responses? Did you even try understand or are you just being a good little Trump boy?

Biden was executing official US policy. This policy was also inline with our allies.

Trump's QPQ was for himself which is illegal.

Still don't get it?? It's not the QPQ but the nature of the ask. Even if Trump didn't threaten Ukraine's aid it would still be impeachable.

Seeing as how the Ukraine was a major player in the attempt to frame President Trump as TRAITOR, I believe any issues that befell them are their own fault.
I will admit, I hate the Democats. Now run along , all of you, and continue to be good little democrats.

Citation? I don't recall Ukraine doing a damned thing aside from their president briefly considering accepting the aforementioned illegal quid pro quo.
I will admit, I hate the Democats.
Yeah we know that. Do you actually know why, though?

Quid pro quo's are not illegal. Every trade negotiation is a quid pro quo. All transactions are quid pro quo. It literally just means 'this for that'. What is illegal is Trump using the power of his office to extort a foreign government (or anyone really) for personal favors.
