That "original" looks artificially ugly. Like someone's photographing a CRT TV running at 640x480 through binoculars. In reality at 1080p, AoE1 non-Definitive looks like this:-

It feels like they just reskinned the game....works though and looks a lot prettier, not sure if it's worth the 30$ or whatever i payed for it...nostalgia is a powerful drug...

AoE series is my all time favorite, playing game with one of the best game mechanics and most of all they stratergy thing. I am expecting something big from them this time as my past experience with AOM Extended edition didn't go that good.

I love strategies of all kind, AoE one of my favorite. Now, there is some 4x turn-based strategy coming out from Poland. We'll see
