All Ubisoft's online stuff has DRM. For some reason though their AoE Collector's Edition is DRM-free. (Probably because it requires patch 1.0e that adds widescreen, etc, and the related no-CD patch couldn't be separated). Didn't even know they made discs until I bought it, but here's the DVD cover. With "upatch", even AoE1 looks pretty good at 1080p for a 20 year old game. With all those fixes, I'm not even sure why it "needs" an official remaster.Really Ubisodt did that? Aren't they they ones with the crazy online protection these days? I was going to buy the last Settler's game last week, but after reading up on it made it not sound worth it due to DRM.
