Also depends on if the "correction" is worth anything. In this case, a speling errror is generally corrected by the readre's own brain and in cases such as this ( informal social "conversation" making such an insignificant correction is mostly for the "corrector's" benefit.
In other words, it serves no purpose of clarification and is mostly 'snarky' in it's origin.

So if you think that's being an asshole, then fine, I'm an asshole. Now you have that level of behavior to expect from me and despite anything to the contrary, that will be your perception.

Yeah, me too. I've had a friend die from alcoholism this year and just this past Friday a classmate died from a heart attack at work. (not that they're the first, but just the most recent) Most of my friends have bald spots and wear reading glasses, just like me. At least I still exercise and I don't have that huge gut. The added benefit to the exercise is that my cholesterol and B.P. is normal.


I'm a runner and it's amazing how much more difficult it is to run. In my 20's, 2 or 3 miles was a piece of cake. I'd work out and then run at least 3 miles.

Now, I feel like I'm damn near going to die after running 3 miles in 27 minutes. I used to run 3 miles in 24 minutes or less and still have energy to do more if needed.

So I can't run like I was in my 20's, but I can still outrun most people in their 20's in 30's!

heh-heh...I don't know how old you are, but if you're under 30, just wait. It gets MUCH more depressing once you pass 50. I look in the mirror in the morning and I see a guy staring back at me who looks MUCH older than I think I should be...Seems like only yesterday we got married, an it's been well over 300 years...I mean over 30 years...

Well, I COULD have said, "It fels like I'm MUCH older than my driver's license says I am...It SEEMS like I've been married over 300 years...and it's only been 33!
