AGP ATI Radeon 32 not detected

Hello yall,

I just got my Radeon 32 DDR in the mail today, so I tried installing it. For some reason, my machine is not detecting it. It did not detect it on start-up. It did not find it when I tried to install through Add New Hardware. I could not install it using the CD that the card came with. Could the card be dead? Or maybe my AGP slot thing doesn't work. I'm using an MSI K7T Pro 2 and Windows 98 SE. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This might seem stupid but make sure you have the card seated firmly [be careful]in the AGP slot.

what was the video card you were using before? pci? or agp?

Make sure you have the right drivers. There's a difference in the 32mb SDR and 32mb DDR. Just so you know.

I also recommend checking to make sure the card is seated VERY FIRMLY
