AGP cards not posting on 8K7A+, help PLEASE, suicide imminent!!

The goods:

Antec True480w (1 day old) (WAS: Enermax EG465P-VE 430w)
Epox 8K7A+
1.4ghz T-bird, Delta SK-6
Turtle Beach Santa Cruz
Corsair PC2400 512mb RAM
2x 40gb WD RAID0
1x 80gb WD

Video cards tested with:

AGP: Hercules Prophet II [GeForce 2 GTS 32mb]
AGP: Chaintech GeForce 4 Ti 4600
AGP: Sapphire Radeon 9700 Atlantis Pro
PCI: Matrox Millenium 2

To not bore you and be efficient, I will give you a bulleted list of the event chronologically:

-Took out CPU and reapplied ASII (1month ago)
-Put it back in, videocard (gef2 at the time) would't post. It finally did after the third powerup and a long wait
-Got a Gef4, wouldn't work in AGP 4x, later on it started randomly rebooting my box...
-Reset BIOS on mobo, flashed w/ newest BIOS... to no avail.
-Decided to RMA Chaintech and get the 9700
-Got Radeon and new PSU (so I could get better performance on the 5v) and now the video card doesn't post all, even with multiple retries and waiting for a long time (patience used to work on the gef4)

Some notes:

-The machine works no problem w/ the Matrox Millenium II (PCI)
-Any of the above AGP card doesn't work properly
-I have tried reposition the card in the AGP slots many times, I also have used dustoff on the AGP slot. Neither helped
-Error codes are random and haven't given me any help.

I'm so at a loss its not even funny. I thought it was the PSU, so I replaced it... now everything points to my mainboard.

Any ideas? Please help.

I vote to get a new motherboard. Sure sounds like it to me. The only reason the 9700 is worse, is because it tasks the AGP slot more than anything else. You are using the extra power connector straight to the video card, right ?

Update:

Just managed to boot up with my Chaintech gef4. However, it still crashes at AGP 4x (even though my 5v is at 5.05 after the PSU replacement)

Looks like everything is pointing to the mobo.

Comments? Opinions? Suggestions?

If I RMA it (I question whether I could, its been over a year), won't I be experiencing the same problem with high-end vidcards?
