AGP Video Card Recommendation?

I need a AGP Video card recommendation for a "XP" machine. Motherboard is a Asus A8V deluxe. Running dual monitors. "2 Dell 24" 2408 WFP". Standard aps with the exception of AUTOCAD. No 3D. Preferably dual DVI's. suggestions and thoughts welcome. Current card is a ATI AIW X8700. Fan is going. Not interested in the tuner or radio anymore. Just a good AGP card to run the dual monitors on the ASUS A8V.

The HIS HD4670 is probably the best you can get- I used to have one in an old workstation I upgraded, it was a solid card. http://www.hisdigital.com/un/product2-448.shtml

Why not PCI? I run dual monitors on this, just fine. No cons for me. Picture is good, no fan.

I have a 6800 Ultra with an Arctic Cooling Silencer sitting in an old XP build with a dead motherboard.

I could part with it. I believe it still works fine. Is a BFG one.

It's a fine card, but it's really outdated and if you are going to play videos, your CPU is going to do all the work. The suggested PCI card above, on the other hand, takes good care of all 2D/Video acceleration in Windows 7/8. In Windows XP, Google Chrome would be able to make use of GPU acceleration.

If you must pick AGP, better to get a used Radeon HD 4650/4670 instead, NTMBK got a good card, see if you can make him ship to you. At any case, paying $43 plus S/H for such an outdated card is non-sense.

This card should be able to play 720p YouTube content easily, should you choose it. Just make sure to use Chrome as your web browser.
