I'd say that's reasonable.

In his current situation it sounds like the most idiotic thing he can do. I got on cigs pretty bad during the 2+ years I smoked. Sometimes just because you can doesn't mean you should.

I saw a kid waiting in line at a gas station. Constantly puffing on an e CIG every 10 seconds. Grow the fuck up and quit acting like you have to have it every few seconds. You look like a fucking tool.


For the record I dont care if someone smokes cigs, e cigs or pot but use your fucking brain when doing it. Clearly this guy doesn't have one.

I dunno how i feel about this. I e-vape in my cubical all day and have been for a year now. a lot of new ex smokers do so as well. So far management has not said a word, either because we keep it out of sight or just happy that people are stopping tobacco use and just look the other way. I can see how vaping in somebodys else's office or cubical would create a problem, and would never do what the OP's moron co-worker does.

Honestly i dont see a problem if im sitting in my cubical debugging a stored proc and take a hit, if anything the company is getting more work out out of me and not paying for my outside smoke breaks. lol i took like 4 hits while i wrote this post. hehehhe

in fact 4 of us just got back from the vape shop with some new juice flavors. this thread is ironic.

Does not bother me in the slightest if he does it when he's not in my cube. I'm not trying to walk around getting signatures to ban it. I just dont want it done in my cube, on my time.

Just tell him that, as an ex-smoker, it's hard for you to be so near the action of smoking without getting a craving. I think most people would be reasonable enough to respect that.

i used to smoke the nasty death sticks so it's not like i'm being a tight ass mother goose here. guess what, i quit and don't miss those stank ass things one bit. i no longer smell like old food and dog shit any more. i could post here bitching about(guess i just did) how i can smell him and the other lady from 20+ ft away and it's fucking disgusting. however, i'm not worried about that near as much as him doing it right in my face while we're working which falls under the category of just because you can doesn't mean you should.
