"What is casino whoring?"

Ah, that brings memories. I used to be part of select group of about 30 high-bankroll gamblers who partook in whoring on a massive basis back when bonus whoring was truly worthwhile. Deposit 1000, recieve 1000, wager 2000. Deals like that.

We made over 2 million on one particularly juicy offer.

But it's a tough addiction to fight off. I stick with low limit poker now. Betting within your bankroll is critical.

you are playing way above your bankroll and also playing -EV games like blackjack.

might as well take out your money and burn it.

I lost 2k over 2 weeks recently and while its small amount to my total bankroll, I still take a break in order to avoid tilt.

I think you have an addictive personality and an elevated opinion of your poker skills.

I am not going to recommend stopping play but you should seriously look in to some bankroll management.

hahahahahah you=dumbass

hope you do not have kids or a family that needs the money. Notice i said kids or family and not you. you blew money you did not have and hopefully suffer for it. hopefully this is a wake up call and you get yourself help for your addiction.

sorry to hear it dude. nothing worse than losing a bunch of cash when you can't afford it.

like a million people said, if you must play - set aside some cash and play with that, nothing more.

good luck

you should use the $500 to win some money back.

Did anyone actually read the OP?

thats what i was wondering. he's -$2000, he only had $500 to begin with.

Correct.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think when you deposit $ into PP, they don't actually know how much money is in your bank account at that moment...so technically, if you only had $500 like the OP, you could type in $2500 and they will let you play with $2500...but when a few days roll over and it shows up on your bank statement, well, I dunno what PP will do...break a few thumbs? lol.

Again I'm not 100% sure if that's correct.

20/40 with a $2500 bankroll is really, really bad. That's a bankroll for $2/4. Just to give you an example, I am a $20/40 regular and my bankroll is $45,000. I regularly lose or win your entire bankroll in a session. If you want, PM me your screenname and I'll comment on your play if you wish.

Oh, and playing party blackjack is just stupid.

serious ownage here. Jebus, im screwed.

I stay away from Party Poker because many of their games are jacked. A lot of people would agree. I know that some people will tell me that it's in my head and I suck this and that, but I play at plenty of other sites without issue. I don't trust Party Poker one stinkin' bit.

People tell you it's in your head because it is. I've personally played over 250,000 hands at party poker from .5/1 to 20/40. Variance is pretty damn large in hold'em and having 20k-30k hand breakeven or losing streaks isn't uncommon for winning players. People don't understand this and instead think the sites are instead rigged.

You start getting semi-decent play where you learn at about the .50/1 tables.

Incredibly wrong. There is absolutely nothing wrong starting to learn at very small stakes tables. You will find that yes there are a lot of people that don't care about the money at those minuscule stakes, but you can still get a good poker education at those limits as long as you don't follow the herd (or should I say school?). It's worth your while if you don't have a lot of money to start with but want to learn. Deposit $20 and bam, you're good for awhile.

That being said, I started at the $.5/$1 limit. I play $2/4 6max now. Man is that a fun game.
