You have got to stretch that stick of memory legs...
Otherwise trade it with me for some PC2100

Updated:

512MB Crucial PC2700 @ 2.74v
1700+/ECS L7S7A2

MHz = 2277
fsb = 198
memory = 396MHz DDR
cas 2.5 turbo setting

>read 2570
>write 1204

Memory volt mod gets me up from 194 to 197MHz fsb speeds. This board will hit the 200MHz max with ease, but not with this memory.

- I am running right now @ 169 FSB even though my 2.53 SL6S2 will run at 185 default vcore. With the current bios's for the SINXP1394, I am unable to run over DDR400+ speeds with the memory at anything over 169 FSB. Will run later with 185 fsb at DDR364 to show comparison performance.

Hey PJ, I am pretty sure that with Canterwood, the DDR multiplier is 2x the FSB, not 2.5x like on Granite Bay (correct if I am wrong)? Your mem speed should actually be 340 dcddr... Is this right?

They are still very good numbers though. I am getting 3780 read and 1667 write speeds with the SINXP1394 @ DDR422 speeds running my 2.53 @ 169FSB.

Now if only Abit would get to moving on the IC7-G :frown:

Granite Bay is actually 1:1 (2xfsb=ddrspeed) Canterwood has a 2.5 divider and there are a couple others that are hidden in this bios... we are trying to unlock those right now.

760MPX dual procs

1506 read
541 write.

Don't laugh, please.

I've got stuff running in the background (muon1), so my memory scores are prolly a little low.

It is nice and fast! Do you think it is actually better than the Sandra Unbuffered? Reasons why?

we already know sandra unbuffered is FOS ~ my scores proved it, noone is even getting close to me.
using sandra for cas testing is also useless.
so basically sandra is useless. (not to mention the ODBC cr@p)

ive run various CAS tests using aida last night and am very happy with the results "curve", seems to be very accurate.
please feel free to test different CAS settings for yourself

in my future threads, i will be using Aida not Sandra.
