thx for the extra test Thor

see, less voltage is better
im sure gaming benchies will agree too ....and i know you dont need 2.7v (cause i dont)
you may as well turn Turbo = ON too.

Well, yes, but unfortunately, I need to run at least 2.6vdimm otherwise 3DMark2001SE demo crashes midway. Testing with 2.6vdimm now with Prime95, and was able to play CS for at least an hour without crashing at 2.6v. I also noticed using Memory Turbo 'Enabled' actually made my gaming choppier than setting it to 'Auto', so I won't bother with that as 3DMark benchmarks only proved a bit better with it enabled.

Now I need to see if Crappy Tire has a sale on their Dremel tool so I can start cutting up my case for my Panaflos.

that is very strange ~ my system doesnt react that way at all.
and turbo is HUGE gain on my card (185 3dmarks)

are you using a 9700?
are you using winXP?
are you using the latest II and IAA?

II = intel inf
IAA = intel application accelerator

(Thor ~ mine can do it, yours should be able to too....
sans 9700 / winxp problems)

Hmm, don't tempt me to go back to Win98SE.

Let me double check the Inf and IAAs. I'm pretty sure about the Inf, as I did install the ones that came on CD with my P4G8X. As for the latest IAA, haven't got a clue.

Hi Superman, I've got the P4B533 but can only 'see' 2.5/2.7/2.9 as voltage options.

What have I missed ?

Apologies, yep 2.6/2.7/2.9.

Wondered how he gets 2.5v ? Is it a voltage mod ?

It's been a while since I laid out dynamic RAM, but shouldn't read and write times be equal? I wonder why read performance is so much higher across the board?

A double post.

Also, could it be that Windows is clearing memory space and then writing?
