If I was an NFL team general manager or coach.... I would just make the assumption that no matter where I traveled to, that the communications were not secure.

I bet there is a lot of sudden maintenance going on in stadiums around the country this week with all the NFL owners covering their tracks.

I doubt this still goes on after the past few years, it's covering their tracks with disgruntled former employees. You know them as "anonymous sources"

It's their duty to investigate such a report even if it turns out to be false. Just the fact that it is being investigated is not an indication of guilt. This is the USA we're talking about right? Innocent until proven guilty.

Even if this doesn't pan out, given its proximity to Bounty-gate, people are going to assume that parts of it are true. It's hard to take the Saints at their word for anything now.

Sorry front running Saints fans, but the Feds don't just start investigations on the rumors created by disgruntled former employees. We all know there is more here and that's why the Feds are moving in on your cheating shitty team.

Yeah that is old news. Outside of the whole Saints debacle at the moment, one of the main reasons Brees does not want to play under the franchise tag is what happened at San Diego in 2005. I believe the Saints offered Brees a contract before the start of the 2011 season but he decided to wait on it.

I keep hearing all the time that the deal is close to getting done from various sources but this has been going on for months and just keeps dragging on.
