Airline tickets to Thailand. What site has the best fares?

Hi,

I hope any of you can help me. I live in Washington DC right now and I really want to take a trip to Thailand. What site has the best fares? I looked at all the major ones already (expedia, orbitz) but they want at least $1200 round trip. I want to spend about 600-800 and have the possibility of changing the date and place of the return trip destination because I might have to go to California. You get a free beer from me if you can help me out. Thanks, John

Check out a few travel shops located in your local Chinatown for some cheap consolidated tickets. I know that you can probably find a deal in LA or SF Chinatown travel agencies that are selling RT tickets to Bangkok for around $600-$700 buck...

Check Korean airlines. My parents use them each time they go to Vietnam. You'll probably have to go to an agent to get the best price

Last time i booked a trip to thailand i went through a thai travel agency out in LA. The flight costed $738 round trip from LAX to Bangkok via ThaiAir. I believe the place was called Star Tours, in Hollywood.

EVA usually has decent fares.

Prices during the summer are much higher than the fall/winter.

the cheap fares are going to very restricted though, so if you're not sure about return date/place, I would recommend that you read the rules and restrictions of the fare that you get.
