I use silcone on the charge nozzle like every 2 or 3 charges. Drop some on the hole, then fill. After done messing around I just fire it until it empties.
I don't think leaving the gas in for a week or so would hurt...I wouldn't do it much longer than that. Again that's just me, it may not hurt a thing.
You can over-pressurise (sp?) anything... Leaving gas on will put more stress on the valves and feeding system.. which is obviously pointless. You'd be better off leaving the gas off.. BB's.. doesn't really matter.
Don't leave the gas in the clip... or the BBs.
The BBs will ruin the spring over time and then you'll find yourself loading 1 BB at a time into the top of the gun because your clip doesn't feed anymore.
I'm sure in your manual it says don't leave the gas in the clip too... you're always supposed to release it all out when you're done.
Don't leave BBs in, as it leaves the spring compressed, accelerating wear.
It's better to leave some gas in the mag, so air doesn't dry your o-rings. Gas has some lube in it, so it helps to keep your o-rings from drying out. Leave a small amount of gas..don't leave it 100% full

putting too much gas in the mag will blow your o-rings. I don't know about long term damages. leaving BBs in the mag would compress the spring overtime which would result in a weaker spring and if its compressed so much that it won't feed the BBs into the chamber. According to some GBB experts, some say to leave a bit of gas (with silicone in it) just a bit. I personally just leave it empty, too lazy and it works fine.
That simply isn't true. It is BAD to leave gas connected, it is stressful on the internal components of the gun, AND if you haven't noticed its below zero, so it is degrading the strength of the o-ring.
