Used to play big time MILSIM airsoft with a bunch of Police, Navy, Marines and Army guys local here.

most of us used Classic Army M4 variants and a few SAWs.

TM is good too just way too much plastic and don't feel as real.

Ive been about 4 times, I live in utah and im sporting a bravo RDW and ive actually had alot of issues with it. There is quite a few teams that do games here, ive done one that had about 200 people. I would go more but its kind of hard to get away when they usually have games.

Today? No. Gave it up about 3 or 4 years ago.
Had a nice Tokyo Marui SAS G3 with extended stock for high power battery. Suped up gears and springs too. 500 round magazine. Good times. Couldnt fucking shoot it anywhere cuz it looked too real. Never had time for the organized leagues. Sold it for a small fraction of what I paid for it.

I used to Airsoft back around 2000-2002 for a couple of years... Went to a few games, and had a "blast" at the more organized games (as opposed to a few guys pick up a game like basketball). I live in So Cal so there was a place just opened in Rialto called "3-n-1 Airsoft" and they had a mini tournament for their grand opening, and was awesome to play at.

College got expensive, sold everything. Now, I'm just getting back into it since the introductions of the GBBR's. I remember I used to own a TM M4A1 (first gun I sold) and a CA MP5-N with a KSC Glock 18C with a metal slide. Out of all the guns, The Glock was the most fun to shoot, especially in Full Auto. Now with GBBR's it seems to be a good time to get back into it! So I bought myself the Inokatsu M4A1 GBBR with the RA-Tech Upgrades. Wow. This thing is scary real. Can't wait to bring it to a game!

I wanted to try it, never had the chance to get into it. I was big into paintball for a while and that was a lot of fun.

yeh I still have a KSC Beretta M9 all metal GBB with the orange barrel replaced with the replica barrel.

it looks ungodly real and feels real.. put it right next to a real Beretta and you cannot tell the difference.

Those are those RC tanks that have an airsoft gun for a main turret.. pretty cool.

Correct, the Pershing and the KV1 do great in the snow, the Panzer III is relegated to summer duty on the baseball diamond.

[edit] the Tiger keeps popping tread so it is a stationary gun turret.

I was kind enough to buy a few guns so that my buddies who couldn't afford to get one could go out and we'll all play. Everytime I tried to set up something everyone would chicken out. Finally said fvck it and sold them all except for my m4 which I just keep around to plink with.

The only thing is when you pick up a real beretta and the Airsoft full metal (KSC) replica, you can tell the difference right away. This is because Japan's restriction on using certain metals on replicas...

HOWEVER, from what I've read, the company that manufactured my gun (the M4) is making another Handgun using STEEL parts, as opposed to pot metal. Since they are working with colt when they brought the m4a1 GBBR to the market, colt's working with them to bring the handsome 1911 to the market. Green Gas couldn't cut moving the steel slide back, so they're using Co2 to give it a good recoil kick.

exactly..
man I'll have to check out that new 1911 sounds cool.

what do you think of that company so far with your M4?
does it chrono pretty consistently?

we have a 400FPS cap on automatic rifles. little higher for snipers.

fairly consistently... I'm gonna go pick up a chronograph today (hopefully). I've yet to shoot over 400 fps, as i set my gun to ~350.

The best part about my m4a1, is that it's constructed from the actual carbine, 100% 1:1 as opposed to other airsoft guns, which uses a tanio koba design (slightly different). In addition, my receiver (upper and lower) are constructed from forged alluminum (7075), just like the real one!

here's a stupid of me shooting it...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3KXMq-Ussc

for those of you who know, it's made by inokatsu.

There are a lot of AS communities in each state. They each have their own boards and such so it's really easy to find pick-up games, skirmishes or 2-3 day Ops.

Sadly I've been MilSim'in it since 2002. I have a group of friends that started playing and now we are a sponsored team trying to go to more National level Ops.

It's fun as hell running around shooting people. Most of us are in our 30's so we play honorably, cause it's the only way to go. Thousands of dollars spent, but well worth it. Hopefully this "underground" sport gets more popular and less negative press for stupid kids shooting pedestrians etc.

My wife doesn't want me buying any more AEG's.. but it's addicting, especially when you get into modding and upgrading.

i'd love to get into airsoft

i'm from socal

I used to be big into it, loved it, until we started participating with the community as a whole... yeah the community sucks ass and I'd rather not play than have to deal with those kind of morons.
