AIW Radeon... spontaneous reboots...

I've had this card for around 6 months now and i'm pretty sick and tired of all the reboots... i've done pretty much everything to try to like this damn video card but this card just totally sucks donkeys <A href="mailto:b@lls">b@lls</A>! I've used almost every driver out but still nothing... i can play quake 3 for around 2 hours then all of a sudden open up TV tuner and the pc will reboot. D3D seems good but locks up after a 30 mins. I've pretty much done everything by the book... dx8a, dx8a multimedia patch, via4in1 4.32 finals, DVD 4.1, MMC 7.1, latest drivers for everything, clean formatted 1 million times! I'm thinking of trading the card for a Kyro II, yes i know its worth more but stabilityis more important. Sorry ATI, i tried hard to get to like you damn video card but enough is enough... i hope you clean up your act. end of rant, peace out.

Here here, I really wish they had a stable card - it was nice having a great all in one solution for my 52" monitor/entertainment center but the driver support was terrible and the card crashed frequently in Win2k. I got a Geforce2 GTS Pro and Hauppauge WinTV instead, great cards.

I am planning on buying the AIW soon, so let us know how it pans out for you.

I have the same problem with my friend's 3dfx VoodooTV 200 PCI. I can listen to the FM Radio for hours upon hours and open up the TV program for it and BAM! My PC reboots. Maybe it's not an ATi problem, maybe it is. These drivers I'm using are betas since 3dfx is out of business now. The problems you are having are the same ones I am, too. Only, it happens about once ever 2-3 days.
