I've been using my new X800 XT AIW for a couple of days now and I'm blown away by the power it has as is, stock (500mhz/500mhz). 1280x1024 6xAA 8xAF with very fast framerates (haven't benchmakred it yet) and I wondered how far I can push this card? Here's some numbers I got using ATiTool 0.24 and using their "find highest core / mem clock" options and then it goes through a good series of heat-up and increasing the clock higher and then more heat-up tests.
Max core/mem 567mhz/587mhz.
I then made a profile for each ATI x8xxx cards and the only card I couldn't duplicate the settings for was the X850 XT PE which runs at 540mhz/590mhz so I was able to match core but not the mem.
If I bought a new GPU cooler I'm sure I could get higher results.
