Honestly shame on white alabama women for voting for moore. Every woman I know has a story about a creepy older guy perving on them when they were younger. How they would overlook Moore's flaws when it goes way beyond perving in his case and still vote for him as a bloc is shameful.

2018 is one year away. within the time it takes a hypothetical Trump > Pence > SotH takeover, it is very likely that there will be no Ryan in place. It will be a Dem. The only way impeachment happens is if Dems are in charge, so it really just takes two to get back to rational life.

....but that might mean President Pelosi. I'm not sure how I feel about that.

well, it was also shockingly true of Trump's victory. Tons of white women went out to vote for him despite his rapiness. ...but these are exit polls, so one can only hope that this is just what they are telling other humans, while they are secretly pulling the lever (lol, no one does that anymore) for the other guy when their husbands can't watch.

...it would explain some things. Like, I can't imagine that the black vote, being 1/3rd of the population, was enough for this close of a victory. I think that means nearly every black person of voting age in Alabama would have had to vote, no? That probably isn't happening and certainly not in the south, where local voting laws would have prevented nearly 30-40% of them from voting.

You'd need 67 senators to remove Trump from office. Impeachment is going to happen if the DNC takes the House but Trump would need to have actually shot someone in Times Square to get enough Republican senators to vote for conviction.
