Hinkley (I believe his first name is, "John", but don't quote me on that), John Hinkley Jr. tried to assassinate President Reagan to try to "impress" Jodie Foster, the actress that he had a fixation on. This is a current event news topic because there was some controversy about him being allowed unsupervised trips from his psychiatric hospital.

It sounds fake to me. She never talked that way when she was hyping Dark Angel, now suddenly she's got a movie that's heavily targeted towards blacks and she's trying to be a sister. Nothing more pathetic than a rich kid poseur that tries to be street.

actually from what i remember of Dark Angel, she spoke with lots of slang ("ghetto speak"). nothing heavy. she speaks the same then and now, imo.

she is far from speaking ebonics, so i don't know what the big deal is....

Such a refreshing change to see a 22-year old act like a 22-year old, no holds barred. Not even in front of cameras. Just say what's on your mind and not care what people think.

You guys shoulda seen her interview on Best Damned Sports Show. She even threw the football around with the guys. Maybe I'll ask Adul to host that one too...
