Do I not like "ghetto" speak? Well, no. As I have already stated, I find that very unflattering. It certainly displays a lack of sophistry, it perhaps also speaks of her intelligence but that obviously does not have to be the case. I know a lot of people who are not verbal geniuses but who are indeed very intelligent. Anyway, so do I like it? No, I don't.

Do I care if she does? God, no. If you told me she is becoming a monk and is disappearing to a mountainside hovel, I could care less.

Everyone on here stated responses about her physical attributes, I had nothing to add to that, all I stated was my opinion. Looks only count for so much and there are other qualities about a person that we might find admirable or not.

It sounds fake to me. She never talked that way when she was hyping Dark Angel, now suddenly she's got a movie that's heavily targeted towards blacks and she's trying to be a sister. Nothing more pathetic than a rich kid poseur that tries to be street.

She wasn't born rich, she was born a middle-class airforce brat who moved a bit early in life and settled in Southern Cal. Other than Cal she's lived in Biloxi Mississippi and she did not learn to be street on Air Force bases or in Mississippi. She's been a successful actress since age 12. She had a series on Nickelodeon, 3 or 4 years in the syndicated remake of "Flipper" and then right into movies. She's no more street than Bill Gates is, it's all an act because she's targeting a black audience for "Honey".

What's an act ? I'm trying to recall all this ghetto acting in all these videos I have of her since 12/1. She went on an interview rampage to promote the movie. I see it in some places while she describes how the movie is different from Flashdance or whatever the other ones are. I don't see it when she's trying to do the interview and speak about herself. What's "all an act" ?
