Albatron Km266 Pro - DOA?

Looking for sympathy / suggestions on this....

Family member 1500 miles away bought and albatron Km266 pro board / duron combo for cheap. Of course, I am expected to be technical support hotline for the install.

They have stripped the system down to 1 dimm, proc, and proc fan. system powers on, but no video.

I have tried my best to do the remote debug thing over the phone, but have run out of ideas. Does anyone else out there have this board and know what could be wrong? Any ideas at all? Please?

A few questions I need to ask. You're getting a series of beeps when you turn on the computer? Does anything show up on screen? Can you get into the BIOS?

Well.. i had a similar problem... one thing you might wanna try is to use an old old video card. When my system wasn't posting it was because I was trying a Geforce 4 Ti-4200 and a Radeon 8500. I think the video card's weren't getting enough juice, so I swapped the power supply to a slightly better one and it booted fine.

So... my suggestion is to try a new power supply if you aren't getting any beeps.

Nope, no beeps. Fans turn, LED comes on. But that's it.

It has integrated video, but they also tried an old Trident AGP card.... no dice.
