Albatron ti4200p - best win98 drivers +trouble o/c

I'm running the newest drivers for my ti4200 (4.13.01.3082).
Since I'm running Win 98SE, can I use any driver set that is
considered better?(IE- 4.13.01.4052 or 4071)

Also, when I o/c the Albatron ti4200p from 250/500 to
275/550, I can run any game just fine. But, when I use
3d mark2001se, just after the dragon-high test starts
I get a black screen and I am forced to reboot the
system. Is something wrong?

My system: Epox 8k5a2+, xp 1600, Geil pc3500, 350w ps

I'd check and use the latest certified driver from nVidia's website, may still be v30 rather than v40 which may still be in beta form.

Most poeple with Ablatron P 4200 seem to get much closer to 300/580, obviously take it steadily and look closely for visual glitches but even 275/550 may be overly conservative. IMHO it's best to find the limits of the core and RAM and then back off a few notches, ie limit=290/560 then set to between 275/540 and 280/550. If the other games you use to test are pretty demanding it would seem it is simply 3Dmark acting quirky, do try it at full defaults and then diff AA, res etc. I had a similar prob and simply couldn't fully remove all traces of previous drivers. But I used WinXP and Win98 can use Detonator Destroyer, dl it, run it and then reinstall the latest official nVidia drivers followed by DX8.1. If that doesn't fix it you may be looking at a fresh OS install which is what I did and everything works perfectly.
