where do I find Alebrto's? In my experience, the mexican food in the Bay Area is quite lousy compared to what I hear exists in SoCal.
Chicago Mexican food is way better than what we get up here. ...Then again, it is the largest Mexican population outside of Mexico. :hmm:

Try Albatross in Lake Forest for Pollo Asada fries.
:thumbsup: We do have some of the best Mexican food on the planet here in San Diego.
I live in Hawaii and have been missing out on Alberto's awesome burritos for 25 years. That's a few friends that are from San Diego as well and sometimes we sit around and rant and rave and crave about Alberto's carne asadaIf yall ever come to California it's a crime not get one of these awesome burritos
All about El Indio in San Diego

Thanks OP for talking about food CA actually does good instead of the In and Out shitburgers you normally can’t stop talking about.
Meat is under-cooked, otherwise looks okay; passable by Tucson standards. Tortilla looks suspect. They didn't wreck it by using vegetable shortening, did they?If yall ever come to California it's a crime not get one of these awesome burritos

Both Alertos in OC are no more and have been renamed to something gentrified sounding.
Alberto's =/= Alertos.
FV people know what I'm talking about
