Well technically YOU are not bringing the ac current in. The case manufacturer does that for you

Well the way I see it is there's no power present until *you* plug it in.

Getting back on topic that's a radical change from the RV02 which I do like. The FT-02 was even better (on the outside) but the case should have been made a bit taller and longer to accept HPTX boards. Of course IMO the only way to mount (HPTX) is horizontally in a HUGE case (MM/Caselabs) and be done with it.

I'm not a fan of the "upside-down" build style of those cases, but damn...that's a nice clean look.

It works very well from a thermal management standpoint. As they say once you go black you never go back.

is this smaller than the rv02? I love my rv02 except that its so huge and my PSU cables don't reach my drives.

I have a RV02 as well, and it is bigger than the RV03, I think. I actually do not really like the changes that Silverstone made in the RV03. I'll be building my next PC in a Fortress 02.
I looked around for a lot of other alternatives, but I just can't bring myself to buy a "conventional" case, having used the Raven. It's just so much better than anythin else... (at least in my opinion.)

And I actually planned to use the same Noctua cooler, just on a Asus Sabertooth board. Matches aestetically, I think.

rv03: 235mm (W) x 522mm (H) x 570mm (D)

Yep, I think the lenght of the RV02 is what makes it look so big.

Yup. I cant connect more than one drive to my line of sata power cables. I use 3 different lines for 3 of my drives. I keep my dvd drive unconnected now after I got my SSD a few days ago.
