Another question. What is the best way to set up the airflow in my case?

Old:
About to pick up a SilverStone Raven RV03.
What length SATA cables should I order?

Currently I have 5 drives with SATA cables that are 20 inches long. Any other longer cables I should order?

Thanks!
Alfa

Don't use any fans except the ones that come with it. It will pull cool air from the bottom and push it out the top. I have the same case and that's how I have it set up.

Awsome build, I am close to buying my parts. I have $1600.00 for the build. I am thinking of the Corsair 650D case. My problem is, I don't know which MOBO to get, I'll be buying the i5 2500K or should I get the i7 2600K. What OS are you gonna use, I want to get the M4 SSD for the OS to boot off of and for my BF3. Is a 650 or 850 a better PSU to get.

I have the Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3. By far the best board I have ever used.
I have OS X Lion (10.7.1) running on my SSD and then windows (for games and OC) on another. I have 3x 1tb drives as well for storage. I have a Thermaltake TR-800P for power. 16gb of ram and a 1gb 460 gtx. I bought the i7 2600K because I do a lot of video rendering and other tasks of that nature.
But if all you're doing is gaming then the i5 would work.

Oh cooling I have the Noctua NH-D14

That is one huge mother of a cooler. Makes that case look like a mini tower .

I think the dual 180mm air penetrators are really all the intake you need

Just looking at your schematics for airflow and thought I'd offer up a suggestion. The exhaust fan you have on the top front end of your case (top right in the diagram) I don't think they'll do much as exhausts. Logically speaking, you want air to flow from below and from the front end of the case into the top and back end. If you set those as intakes you'll be able to pull in air to go over the CPU heatsink. Plus also maybe it would help increase turbulence in the case? That last bit I'm not too sure about

Nice build. While I like the overall look of the cards being vertical, does that pose any issues with everything coming out the top? I know it looks like it has a cover, but video cords tend not to be too flexible

I have 3x 24AWG DVI cables going into the top and yes it's no fun dealing with them but it's not too hard. It also makes it look MUCH cleaner since the back is normally where the mess is.

Thanks!
I've worked with the fractal design define xl and loved it. I just prefer the 90º turn. Also they have very similar build quality.

Do you like the two front fans?

Sure? I had 120mm fans so I dropped them in. I like having air flying over my HDDs

Lol. Thanks!
