Ahhh...I'm so tempted to get in on this deal.
I have a 8800GT now and playing at 1920x1200 brings a lot of new games to a crawl.

I'm also torn between the cheaper MSI for $185 or the XFX for the warranty or the ASUS for the voltage tweak!!!

120Hz doesn't give you 3D. 120Hz + a NVIDIA card + NVIDIA stereo glasses ($$$$) gives you fake 3D.

That stinks. Any notification that it was out of stock or back-ordered? You should contact them.

I ordered mine yesterday around 10am CST. I figure no point in following up for another day or two.

I just received an email saying mine had shipped. The email gave me a UPS tracking number. When I check UPS, there is no record of the shipment, but their e-mail says it takes a day or two to show up in their system.

Same here... it's not a surprise though. They'll print up the shipping labels directly out of their shipping system. UPS doesn't show any track until they get scanned in to the system for the first time.

If not, you could always just use the Paypal plug-in to create a one-time use credit card number that draws from your Paypal account.


Looks like mine finally shipped as well. Unfortunately, they're using UPS which means it won't arrive until the 21st. Man, UPS has gotten slow. I've taken to calling UPS "snail mail" instead of the Postal Service. Anything I sent via the USPS usually arrives in 3-5 days. Anything I receive via UPS usually takes around a week.

They take paypal, however, what you do is put in your paypal email address if you choose paypal as your payment method, and then you send a Paypal Payment from inside paypal. They don't have paypal checkout.

I always check live cashback to see if they offer any cashback from the store I am going to make a purchase from. I have used it many times and have only had a problem with one transaction and it was with ebay and was paypal's fault, but it was eventually fixed. I have always gotten my cash back just as advertised.

EK waterblock for 4890GPU at FROZEN CPU

The block is not in stock on the site. I called and preordered. I was told they were arriving today and it would be shipped this afternoon. EXCELLENT customer service at FROZENCPU. Prices are a bit steep on some items but IMHO a good outfit overall.

I agree about FrozenCPU. They may not always be the cheapest, but amazing customer service and great selection. I bought a reservoir from them that I later decided I didn't want, and they let me ship it back for a FULL refund (as store credit, but that was fine by me). There have been multiple cases where they are the only online vendor that has a particular water-cooling product in stock. Thanks for the heads up about the EK block, I just sent them an email about pre-ordering an EK-FC4890 CF-Acetal+Nickel.
