I just want to post in the first page of a thread about sandwiches.
Nothing beats some good grilled salami on rye. Add some latkes on the side and you're in heaven.
What kinda cheese we putting on that? I'm thinking some really good provolone, or, fresh mozzarella.

No cheese. That would be an affront to any good deli sandwich. This is a meat sandwich and the meat should be the only attraction.
It is just literally grilled salami (little bit of honey on it) put on some rye.
Applesauce with the latkes to help it go down. Water on the side.

pepperjack is hit or miss IMO, sometimes its just too damn peppery and overpowers everything else
If you find a good pepper jack there is no cheese that compares however.
