What?
You know. Connect the USB to water to download a drink. Geesh. C'mon man.
What?
What?
It was a problem with the previous Galaxies.
If the USB port came into contact with moisture then the phone would randomly sense that there is something connected to the USB port and at a certain battery % would display the battery temperature as critically low.
Thank goodness that doesn't happen on the Galaxy S4.
My friend needs a solution. When he sends pictures from the gallery via email (I assume he's using Gmail), he is getting .png files. Ordinarily .png is a superior format but he is using some web app that only takes .jpg for business and it's a hassle to convert (even a batch convert) every time he wants to upload pictures.
I thought that was strange that there isn't an option to choose. Perhaps there is but I don't own the S4 so I can't check. Can anyone help him out?
There is no such option according to him. It lets you select the size and aspect ratio of photo before taking pictures but he doesn't see any option as to how it should share via emails. I told him to check both the camera app and the gallery app.

Just got an S4 today off of swappa. very nice phone. the screen is incredible. It's like my galaxy s2, but better!
one thing i noticed is that it's wider so harder to type with one hand. also seems a little bit more fragile than my s2, but i will be getting a case for it in a few days. any recommendations? I was happy with my otterbox commuter on my s2.
on a side note, the seller on swappa sent the phone and it's in good condition, but the battery is bent as hell. it even creates a dent in my backplate. is this thing going to explode ?
I would get a new battery. The chances of it exploding are probably higher than of a normal battery.

btw FYI for anyone who's wondering, i got the TMobile version, the M919, paid $15 to unlock it, and i'm using AT&T with full LTE and no issues. it's very very nice. I tried XDA's menu unlock option but it just didn't work on my phone.
here's hoping when i switch to tmo in a few months their service will be just as good here as ATT.
Does it work with hsdpa?
Oooo. I wouldn't not use that battery. Personally I would get a new one with a charger:
Alarms are set from the Clock app.How does one set an alarm from the calender app? In the reminder section, there is only option for notification, which is not an alarm.
