Apparently hp is releasing an updated version of their 1440p 32" monitor.

has freesync, no word on the vrr range, but it looks pretty nice and is set to retail for 499.99.
Great price. There was word that the previous non freesync version from last year suffered from pwm flickering, not sure if this new variant has the same issues or not. Also no word on panel type, not sure if it's using a VA panel or ips.
Depends on price really. These should be very cheap. The more people get access to adaptive sync tech, the better.
Thanks to DP 1.2a you can get it at all price points and in many different types of panels now, not just displays catered to the enthusiast gaming crowd.
It's half the price of Ultrawide 29' LG Freesync. I'm now thorn. Too many options!

Is Ultrawide worth the premium?
29 Inch for an ultra-wide is too small, imho. Compared to a 27" 16:9 monitor. You gain a little in diameter and width. But the height of a 29" 21:9 is considerably lower than a 27" 16:9. Imho it makes the screen feel very cramped and tiny. You should realize that. It's half the price of Ultrawide 29' LG Freesync.

Review is super nice. I hope they make a 1440p model. All the import models are the ones I'm interested in. Name brand models are way too expensive for what I'm getting. Can you get this in Poland or somewhere else in the EU?

This is a premium 144Hz 24" gaming monitor at a reasonable price.
I want one of these 34" ultrawides so bad, but I can't decide on AMD vs NVIDIA for my next graphics card upgrade and I absolutely need to have Freesync/G-Sync in whatever I buy next. It'd be nice if NVIDIA just committed to supporting DP Adaptive Sync already. Bah.
If nvidia did, I'd have bought a 980ti. Yesterday. But I can't use it on any of the panels I want to so it's not worth it. Freesync has more options and by the end of next year it may be 5 times more options. Gsync has to go. It's part of the reason I'm waiting. I'm praying gsync falls off.I want one of these 34" ultrawides so bad, but I can't decide on AMD vs NVIDIA for my next graphics card upgrade and I absolutely need to have Freesync/G-Sync in whatever I buy next. The problem with FreeSync (compared to G-Sync) is the lack of memory inside the monitor.can someone here school me on freesync range? Is it hard-coded into the monitor itself, or strictly through drivers / software?
