I returned my card because it was seriously screwed up. They tried to give me an in-store credit, but after threatening to call my cc company, they said they'd issue a full refund. I definately won't be doing any business with them again. They told me that the 600mhz was an advertising mistake and gave me the $20 in-store credit, so they should offer you the same.

I ordered many items before from them, but that was when they had resellerratigns in the 8-9's.
Now its down to 5.75, its no wonder. I guess they are not the same company as before. Maybe they have new owners now with less emphasis on customer satisfaction.

I think I'm done with them too. They farked up the order and shipped me a Matrox G450, took 3 days to process the rma, and I'll never get the card I "thought" I ordered....maybe I'm better off.

I've bought lots of things from compgeeks, but I think this was my last. I don't appreciate the tone of their rma email for mis-ships...especially when the damn card they sent me has matrox stamped all over it.

these pulls are from HP machines that are returned. like, they are new, but sometimes the reason they were returned was they were dead. i used to get boxes of them, but i'd actually test them. compgeeks doesnt look like they did.


thats why they are so cheap, they are sold like in boxes of as is, with about 95% working. so 1 in 20 gets screwed




these cards are really hit or miss O/C wise. i havent o/cd mine yet. but i had a bunch of the older 4x agp version, got 315 , 580 out of some of them, and others only would do like 290 550 . i will have to try it out on my 8x one.

ran a couple of 3dmarks, but i don't think it'll even be stable at that in the long run.
cards are used/pulls as the gold contacts show fair amount of wear.
a decent deal, but not hot imho. I got 12323 3dmarks at default, probably 1000-1200 more if it was really 600mhz.
New retail one would be new, cables, box, software, maybe a longer warranty for only $20-30 more, so instead of hot deal, its pretty much you get what you paid for deal.

Edit: Looks like I can only get to 275/522 mhz before artifacts shows up. Saddened by the poor ocing results of my card


Edit: the speed should be stamped on the memory chip itself. Usually the last 2 numbers after a "-" symbol

Damn I could get 275/560 rock stable no artifacts on the BFG one best buy had for 89 way back, I thought Asus should have been better?
