My 2 shipped, also. My $79.99 64MB 4200 order from BB showed some activity this weekend, too, but not shipped yet. I may get them after all. My co-worker has claimed one already. If I have one left over I'll post it on BUY/SELL/TRADE forum.

I received my card yesterday from compgeeks and it appears to only be the 512mhz card. I'm using the nVIDIA drivers. How do I found out which version of the V9280 I have. Still not a bad deal for $102.96 with shipping.

At 9:20am CST I clicked the link, and it showed some in stock. Didnt see how many. By 9:25 they were gone. CG may be getting in separate shipments of the these, or someone cancelled theirs.

I did some more research and found out the chips are rated 4.0ns, which is similar to the V9280TD. The 600mhz V9280S has 3.3ns chips. I called compgeeks yesterday; they called back today and told me it was the 512mhz. Maybe I'll get free shipping for the mistake. Thanks for your help RadioactiveMagpies.

Highly doubt 600MHz... Thought the 8x 128MB card's memory is faster than its 4x counterpart.

just received mine, pretty poor overclockers.
3.6ns hynix chips, but without heatsink on the ram, it gets pretty hot. 270/541(250/514 default) was all i can.
ran a couple of 3dmarks, but i don't think it'll even be stable at that in the long run.
cards are used/pulls as the gold contacts show fair amount of wear.
a decent deal, but not hot imho. I got 12323 3dmarks at default, probably 1000-1200 more if it was really 600mhz.
New retail one would be new, cables, box, software, maybe a longer warranty for only $20-30 more, so instead of hot deal, its pretty much you get what you paid for deal.

Edit: Looks like I can only get to 275/522 mhz before artifacts shows up. Saddened by the poor ocing results of my card

Edit: the speed should be stamped on the memory chip itself. Usually the last 2 numbers after a "-" symbol

The chips on my ti4200 were Samsung K4D28163HD-TC40. I'm running it at stock right now, but will run some benchmarks once I get my memory situation straightened. Called about the advertising blunder and received a $20 in store credit.

From the search I did, I found that my chips were the Samsung K4D28163HD-TC40 and they run at 4.0ns.

I've been having problems with my card crashing during 3dmark tests and even during boot. Sometimes the screen is split in half. Not sure what the problem is. I may have to get a return on it.

I haven't run any benchmarks yet, but casual use hasn't shown any problems. Thanks for the reply!

It could be your MSI 655 MAX-LS MB problem.

Thanks Render. I had a feeling that may be the problem since it doesn't boot properly all the time.

I decided to stop being lazy and test the card on my parents computer. They have a MSI-845G Max card with onboard video. I plugged the Asus Ti4200 in the AGP slot and when I went to turn on the computer, it starts but doesn't boot and the monitor goes in standby mode. As soon as I unplug the card and hook the video cable back to the onboard video everything works fine again. Does this mean the card is bad? Or did I miss a step when hooking it up to a computer with onboard video?

Edit: I went in the bios and changed the Graphics Adapter Priority setting from AGP/Int-VGA to PCI/Int-VGA just in case the computer recognizes it as a PCI card. With the setting at PCI/Int-VGA, the computer boots up, but then the monitor goes into standby, the same as on my computer.

I got 2 with Samsung 4.0ns chips. Default clock is 250/513. Looked like new but prolly not. No wear on the contacts. Ran them both through a couple of round of UT2003 online last night with no hiccups.

I just called them about the mistake, they denied ever advertising it as 600 mhz and treated me like i'm stupid. Talk about mean people. I used to recommmend them to all my friends too.

I saved the web page which states 600mhz if you need it. I haven't called them on it yet, but plan to.
