Take a look at the Lenovo Ideacentre B510. They have a deal on one at the Lenovo site for $1399. Includes a Core I7, 8GB memory, 2TB drive, Radeon 5570, and a 23" 1080p screen.

Would this run games smoothly? Is the video card strong enough? This along the lines of what I was thinking.

Wow. More feedback then I could have imagined so thanks . I would like to stick to a non mac if possible. The online games I play are heavy on the graphics and would like it to be able to handle games of the immediate future. Games played are the latest fps and rpgs. example of specs for a game...

The reason for the all in one is I love the idea of just having to see the monitor out in the open. Especially in the family room. Being on the couch with a wireless keyboard and mouse with no tower is nice. I would also like to pay these types of games without lag.

You do realize that so-called "minimum requirements" are laughably out of touch with reality right? We're pretty smart cookies around here, just tell us the titles of the games that you'd like to play please.

Sorry. I just pulled a sample of a game coming out...Rift. I don't have a specific game for the specs. As of now I still play the older games like everquest and battlefield. I just want to get something so when the next game comes out that I like I won't have to upgrade.

What you are asking for DOES NOT EXIST, it is a pointless concept in the first place, high end gaming requires high end parts, high end parts need lots of power, lots of power comes from big hot power supplies, Heat will also come from the more powerful CPU and the more powerful GPU required to do decent gaming, if you want to do gaming in your living room get an HTPC with a gaming GPU, besides that you might as well just get a tower computer and put it in the bedroom.

That's goal is hard enough to fulfill with a normal gaming PC, much less an all-in-one. Unless of course you're willing to settle for low details and resolution.

This is what I am using and I am loving it!!

The only draw back is most All in One PC`s are not really upgradeable....

My last computer was a 4 year old Gateway that I bought dirt cheap!!


This computer was not cheap at all!!

I paid a little over $2,000.....again sometimes best buy will for some reason not charge what is being charged by say Dell or gateway!!
