I know its old but how would the TV feature be on it even todat compared to a TV tuner card? Does it have basicly the same features I should I not bother. I can get it for free basicly but is it worth using next to my 9800np for TV features?

Can I record and/or set it up like a tivo where I can set it to record at certain times?

It would work fine for the tv. Just about like the current ati cards. I don't think though, that it would record like because that is based on the ati mmc software. I think you can only use 7.x with that card. If you could use the current version of mmc, 9.x, it should record like a digital vcr. However, you should be able to record tv channels and capture videos, just not set it for a certain time. I can't remember all the features of mmc 7, so I may be wrong.

There is no software that I know of that will work besides the ati mmc. I depends on what you will mainly use it for. TV, great. Video capture, great. It might work as a digital vcr, but I can't say for sure.

Can anyone confirm if the the older mmc supports tivo like features or a way to add the features. Thats the main thing I would use.

BTW would there be any conflicts between it and my 9800?
