Don't know if you watch the History channel series Vikings. At the end of a show (second season), the main character is executing a rival in a particularly brutal fashion, blood eagle. The music during the scene was an Amon Amarth song. Don't recall the name but is added to the intensity of the scene.

I like a lot of 80s music. However, I hate this song. A lot.

If it weren't for a hand full of decent tunes from Guns N Roses, Metallica, Motorhead, Iron Maiden, the Scorps, Judas Priest and, AC/DC, all of the 80's could be dropped from our music catalogs without a tear being shed. The entire decade was a bland polyester sugary promotion of talent less, blow dried, pixie punks.

Negative political news during the first Obama campaign drove me crazy.
The right wing was so nasty you'd think we had dug up Hitler, slapped an American lapel flag on his suit, added some black makeup, and called him Obama.
I did need to take breaks, many breaks, from politics during that very hateful political era.

Hasn't seemed that bad since, or maybe some immunity has set in?
But no doubt during the election next year this time, when things really heat up, all the political negativity will come back to haunt us.
The only upside this would be Donald Trump continuing on and keeping things interesting.
Everyone can always use a laugh.
And a few OMG did he really say that on TV?

I think it should be the Big McWhopper, considering that it has the full name of their flagship burger and not enough of McDonald's influence. I also think it should have one of both patties, especially since the Big Mac already had two patties.

The uniforms also seem to be a bit lopsided in favor of BK. their side gets the wearer's full head. McDonald's will, no doubt, object over this petty slight and threaten the peace. Hopefully they will resolve their differences and do this so that I can get mine. Selfish, I know.

There are like 7 billion people. Of course there is bad news every day. The good news, is that as a whole, bad news is on the decline and has been pretty consistently since WW2. Crime has been dropping, less people are starving to death, more people are literate, infectious diseases that have plagued humanity for thousands of years are being terminated. The world is improving, the human condition is improving.

There is plenty of bad news, there will always be plenty of bad news. But, the overall situation is that there is a lot less suffering in the world today than in the world of the past.
