on Matchups alone I'd sit Torry Holt... but I don't know people are trying to convince me to sit sproles - on the account that he is a backup. Also with Isaac Bruce the thing is that o'sullivan spreads the ball ALOT... also Holt is tough b/c green is now QBing...

I would sit Holt or Sproles. My gut feel is that LT is doing better and Sproles is going to get limited time.

I picked up Sproles, and I'm starting to regret it. LT didn't practice Wednesday, but did the last 2 days. LT has over 1700 yards against Oakland, and needs 55 to pass Barry Sanders for the most rushing yards through 15 games against a single opponent since 1970.

LT also has 19 TD's against Oakland, and needs 2 to pass Marcus Allen for the most TD's against a single opponent since 1970.

In case you didn't know, both Barry & Allen are hall of fame RB's. If I know this, you can bet LT does too, so play Sproles at your own risk.

Brees is going to have very few options to throw to and 49ers have a pretty solid pass def. Edwards is facing one really crappy team who can't defend against the pass at all. I'd go Edwards over Brees.

I can't decide who to start this week: Santana Moss or Braylon Edwards. Moss has been consistent, but I'm thinking Edwards is ready to make a statement after a disappointing few games.

I'm in a league that was formed here in ATOT. The commissioner proposed a trade earlier this week.

I got:
Plaxico Burress
Steve Smith

He got:
Carson Palmer
Braylon Edwards

Now that Palmer is out today he asked for me to reverse the trade. I thought he was joking and rejected the trade. Now he's posted a Commissioner's Note:

Everyone I need your vote on the trade that was completed this week between my team (Parcell's Jap Plays) and Yzzimians.

I had proposed the trade because I was desperate for a QB and overpaid a bit to get one. The trade was slightly in the advantage of Yzzim but I was OK with it as I was getting the QB I needed.

It was reported today that Palmer would miss todays game and quite possibly more with an injury. The main reason for makeing the trade was for the QB. The trade now looks like Burress/Smith for B.Edwards which is clearly one sided.

I am putting the trade up to a vote to the owners here. If you feel it is too one sided then I can reverse the trade and the players will be returned to their rosters. I would need a majority vote (7) to overturn the deal.

Now I know some of you may say tough crap - injuries happen and whatnot. If that is the case then I would urge that maybe the two owners can work out another deal to compensate for the QB being hurt. Maybe trade Burress back in return for another WR or something.

I will not make any changes until the league decides. I will give it until 11:30pm Saturday next week to make the decision.

Whoever the commish is sounds like a retard. Its a risk you take in FF. Too F'n bad on his part. I would not play in the league anymore if he is going to be like that. If he forces his hand, trade all your star players to his closest rival and drop the league. Thats a bunch of bullshit, without a doubt.

I drafted both Palmer and Edwards. Both were wastes and I wish I could trade them off. I'm planning on releasing both this week.

Your commish can go pound salt. He made the trade. He has to deal with it. If he uses the commish position to reverse it I'd drop out of the league (assuming it wasn't a money one).

Didn't realize it was one of the money leagues which means it's probably not smart to just quit if you have alread paid. The commish should have to live with a trade that lop sided since he proposed it. I can't even begin to think why he would propose that deal.

Anyway, looks like two members have already voted against you according to the other thread. Unfortunately I think you might lose the vote because the others feel the trade makes your team much better than the rest. Since it looks like odds might be stacked against you, maybe make a counter proposal that you get to keep one of the players he traded you and only switch one back. Only do this if it looks like everybody is going to vote to reverse the trade. Since he made a stupid move, he should lose something.

Lastly, if your counter offer isn't accepted and the vote isn't looking good, make sure to let everyone know that you are up for sale if you fall out of contention (i.e. throw games either for some compensation or just to whatch him fall down the standings). Or follow FallenHero's advice and trade your guys away to screw him over.

Well....you have 2 RB (actually 1 RB and 1 FB) and a WR.....If you need a WR....you only have one option.

To clarify the 2 spots I have open are 1-RB and 1-WR/RB
So I can use 2 RB's or 1 and 1
