I gave Moss, Williams and Warner

I got Slayton and Colston.

I had two fantasy QB studs (Cutler and Warner) and four great WRs (Fitzgerald, Moss, Calvin Johnson and Roy Williams).

I was constantly leaving points on the bench because I could only start 1 QB and 3 WRs. Needed RB help and wanted to get value for my extra QB and WR.

I think I did that. What are your thoughts?

No one has any thoughts? Everyone else I have talked to thinks I got worked.

Belicheat isn't going to get a quarterback so Moss's numbers are going to suck in comparison to last year.
Roy Williams has been overrated since he got drafted.
Warner's blindside just scares me...great for fantasy stats though.

I agree with you. In addition I have watched a few of Moss's games this year and he doesn't seem to be working as hard as last year. It is as though he knows his chances of getting the ball are much smaller than last year.

The best case scenario is that Williams is traded to a team that has some offense. Right now Calvin Johnson seems to be the goto guy in the red zone. However that is with Kitna as QB - it still remains to be seen what happens when one of his backups gets the opportunity in the red zone.

Warner has been great this year and I don't see it changing.

This trade has left me with 3 top 10 WRs (Larry Fitzgerald, Calvin Johnson and Marques Colston), a good backup WR (Breaston's value is high until Boldin comes back), a top 3 fantasy QB (Cutler), a top performing RB (Slayton - hoping he keeps it up) with two other starting RBs (Earnest Graham, Jamal Lewis) and a bunch of scrub RBs (Dunn, Hightower, Buckhalter).

Kevin Curtis is also available on the wire and I think I will be able to pick him up once the trade goes through and frees up a roster spot.

I think this was a good trade for both teams (he got the better of it), but I still improved.

Addai's value has taken a hit, but I think he can turn it up.

I'm pretty thin on the WR

My W/R's

Lee Evans
Isaac Bruce
Chad Johnson
Hank Baskett

If Ocho was atleast playing like 75-80% of himself, i wouldn't have a problem since Lee Evans is having a pretty good season thus far.

But I think I need to make some adjustments..

Or my other option is

Reggie Wayne + Calvin Johnson for Portis.

I don't think Addai is the problem in Indy. They suffer a little from Baltimoreitis. That is their offense is struggling so their defense plays a lot. They get tired and give up points. This forces the offense to throw to get back in the game. They have a lot of 3 and outs and it all starts over again. It all comes down to the offensive line. They just aren't playing well on run or pass blocks. This is why Peyton is struggling and why Addai is struggling.

Do you have backup RBs to back fill Portis? If so, the trade for Wayne and Boldin would be more attractive especially if you believe Boldin's injury is a week or two for recovery.

LoL I wish I can have Wayne + Boldin, but they're being held by two different people and they both want portis bad.

NY more likely to blow out Cleveland and so Eli may get pulled early like the game against SEA.

I'd go Turner over LT. LT clearly not himself this season (still has that toe injury) and he hasn't been all that successful against NE. Turner has proven he can run against any D so far.

Brees and Michael Turner.

I just traded away Moss because I don't think he is going to have a good year.

I am thinking the same about LT - this toe injury seems to be realling bothering him.

Turner has been turning it up every other game though.

yeah Turner rapidly became #1, glad I picked him up when I got the chance.

LT was good to me a few weeks back but last week was pretty shitty; Brees has been consistent, and Manning had that one ridiculous game....

I wish I had some WR's

You guys think I'll get smashed this week? lol

Tony Romo
Adrian Peterson
Felix Jones
T.J. Houshmandzadeh
Calvin Johnson
Antonio Gates
Panthers D/ST
John Kasay

vs

Drew Brees
Michael Turner
Michael Pittman
Lance Moore
Kevin Walter
Anthony Fasano
Redskins D/ST
Ryan Longwell

OUCH! You are hurting for WR. Unless Brees explodes for a 40 point outburst I think you are screwed. And even then, Romo vs. 'Zona is going to be a gun slinging shootout. He might have a 300 yard, 3TD day too.

Oh well, my first FF league ever, so at least I learned alot for next year (ie pick some goddamn WR's)

Marques Colston has been practicing and has a good chance of coming back Sunday. Good news for those (including myself) who've been waiting for him.

Also look for Kevin Curtis. He may play this weekend, but he will be back strong after their bye.

I have been.

Just traded for him. Expect him to be top 10 WR once he gets going again especially with that offense and QB.

, NYJ WR

Here's my bench...

LaDainian Tomlinson, SD RB
LenDale White, Ten RB
Eli Manning, NYG QB
Chansi Stuckey, NYJ WR
Trent Edwards, Buf QB Q
Ike Hilliard, TB WR
Dante Rosario, Car TE

Curtis (hernia, questionable) will travel with the Eagles for Sunday's game against the 49ers and could see his first action of the season this weekend, the Eagles' official site reports.
Spin: Reggie Brown has been ruled out, but that does not assure Curtis of seeing a heavy workload, assuming he does suit up. Given the uncertainty on that front, it may be best to take a await and see approach with Curtis. At the very least, he should be ready to rock in Week 8, when the Eagles return from their bye week.

Why would you be carrying a TE on your bench unless it is one of the top 3/4 who is on a bye?

Drop Rosario and pick up Breaston. He is Boldin's replacement and should get a lot of looks.

Drop Rosario, add Breaston, Bench Walter and start Breaston in his place.

If LT plays, you should start him. You prolly drafted #1 or 2 so you gotta ride your horses, or trade 'em.

TE are a dime a dozen as long as you don't have the top 3 or 4. They are all hit and miss so there is no reason to carry them on your bench.

Witten is the exception to that rule....and maybe Scheffler (I have both)
