My gut is telling me Warner. He plays good at home and Dallas has had some pretty piss poor secondary coverage giving up big plays.

You guys think Marvin Harrison will finally break out? It's either him...or Lance Moore....
I also got Eddie Royal off the wire, but if he plays, he is gonna play hurt.

Someone just dropped Ahman Green and I want to get him to protect my investment in Steve Slaton.
My team is:
QB Jay Cutler
WR Larry Fitzgerald
WR Calvin Johnson
WR Steve Breaston
RB Correll Buckhalter
RB Steve Slaton
TE Zach Miller
BN Jamal Lewis
BN Earnest Graham
BN Warrick Dunn
BN Tim Hightower
BN Marques Colston
BN Kevin Curtis
I don't know who to drop. I have Dunn to protect my Earnest Graham investment and I love Hightower. Colston and Curtis are just coming back from injury and will be in the swing of things in the next week or two.
Right now I'm leaning towards Breaston or Buckhalter, but I want to see how long Westbrook is out before dropping Buckhalter.
That leaves Breaston as the odd man out. I wanted to play him this week because Colston and Curtis may or may not play much. Do I wait until Tuesday to drop Breaston and pick up Ahman Green then, or do I drop Breaston now and play Colston hoping he sees a lot of time?
My oppoent will needs a WR this week and we have no waiver period in our league. If I drop Breaston, he may very well pick him up and play him against me. Is it worth that risk?
Thanks.

I think you would be nuts to get Green now. Why worry over something that might not happen?

Good question. A few reasons:
1) My league is very active on the wire because we have no waiver period. If I don't "foresee" an issue so to speak, chances are I will miss the opportunity if and when it happens.
2) There is no doubt that Slaton is the starter now, but he only recently wrestled the job from Green and he is a rookie. I would imagine he is on a short leash. One or two bad games or an injury, Green would replace him.
3) There is no doubt that if Slaton were to lose the starting role in Houston (through injury or bad appearences) that Green would be the replacement starter.
4) I just gave up a lot of fantasy points (in players) to get Colston and primarily Slaton. If he were to lose his starting role and I were not to have Green, my team would be significantly worse than before the trade. I am trying to protect my investment.

Well it's your call, but I still think you are jumping the gun. Getting Green now only helps you if Slaton gets hurt. Don't wish ill on your own players.

I've had Orton on my bench since the beginning of the season in two of my three leagues. I'm actually starting him over Peyton in one league this week.Originally posted by: MetalMat
So is anyone else drinking the Kyle Orton Koolaid? I am thinking of picking him up and dropping Kitna, prob will start him over Palmer too

Just did a trade proposal in one of my leagues: Philip Rivers for Marshawn Lynch. I already have cutler on my team and have been going thru a downturn with my RB's.
You guys think he will accept? He has Matt Shaub as his only QB
Not a chance if he's smart.
Most leagues only play 1 QB. Philip Rivers is barely in the top 10 (especially with LT injured Chris Chambers out and Vincent Jackson possibly out too).
Compare that with RB where most leagues play two. Not only is Marshawn Lynch in the top 10 (especially with all the top guys not performing well), but he plays for a team whose starting QB is out indefinitely and may need to run for a stabilizing factor.
To get a mediocre RB (Steve Slaton), I needed to give up a very good fantasy QB (Warner) and a top notch WR (Randy Moss).

I have a 5 point lead against Burress tonight. Here's to hoping that NY runs all kicks and punt back for a TD so that Burress never even comes onto the field.

I'm behind by about 25 points and Burress is my only hope tonight. He needs a HUGE game.

Hey guys. The guy who owns AP is getting a little desperate for RBs. I happen to some extra ones. Who should I offer up:
Steve Slaton
Earnest Graham
Warrick Dunn
Jamal Lewis
Correll Buckhalter
He indicated he wants 2 for 1. Is it worth offering Slaton + Lewis or Graham?
I'm pretty sure he wants two full fledged starters.
Thoughts?
