Theres a chance Shaun Alexander might sign with the Redskins. Portis will still get most of the carries, but do you guys think Shaun Alexander is worth picking up anyways?

Jax, I would try to dump Correll and one of the others. See what he says. You might get lucky.

Krunchy,

I'll answer that this way. There have already been a number of teams that have had RB troubles this year (Cinci, Detroit and Seattle). They all passed on Alexander even though they could have signed him for nothing. Considering he is not event going to be a starter, I would say probably not.

Really? Correll had an unbelievable game. With Westbrook having broken ribs, I doubt they will heal before the end of the year. I believe Westbrook's starts will be spotty and short because of the pain and the potential for internal damage if they use pain killers.

Right now Correll is the 1st or 2nd best back I have (depending on how you value Slaton).

no, I meant that teams will be rushing to sign him soon; he's got soo much potential, it's a shame he's in westbrook's shadow

in a way he plays exactly like westbrook, he just racks up yards from scrimmage both receiving and rushing...every game he's started it seems he gets hella yards both rushing/receiving and he's such a danger in the red zone because of the short pass option or he can just jump over the pile (ignore the bears game...)

Question: I have the Vikings D and the Ravens D...On ESPN, Vikings D is projected 7 points against the Bears offense and Baltimore is projected only 4 points against Miami offense...

Doesn't this seem a little farfetched to you guys? I just think that Miami is gonna get a little dose of reality this Sunday when its turnover mania against the Ravens....

Hey guys. The guy who owns AP is getting a little desperate for RBs. I happen to some extra ones. Who should I offer up:

Steve Slaton
Earnest Graham
Warrick Dunn
Jamal Lewis
Correll Buckhalter

He indicated he wants 2 for 1. Is it worth offering Slaton + Lewis or Graham?

I'm pretty sure he wants two full fledged starters.

Thoughts?

Any one?

Any one else?

You're probably going to have to give up a lot for AP. Try offering him Jamal Lewis and Earnest Graham. I'd actually give him any 2 of those guys for AP.You still have depth at RB

Good luck with that - the best Alexander can hope for is an injury to Portis. Other than that he won't do much more than give Portis a break. When Betts comes back - I think Alexander will drop to 3rd RB.

Hope he helps you out though.

Roy Williams' contract is up at the end of the year and Detroit wanted some return on their investment.
