1 QB
2 RB
3 WRs
1 TE
1 K
1 DEF
What strikes me first is that you have a very good team. You are weakest in WRs, but are strongest in RBs where it is most difficult to have consistent strength.
Top 5-10 fantasy QB
3.5 Good RBs
1.5-2 Good WR
Great TE
If I were you I would try to bolster my WRs through a trade with a RB. I would keep Roddy White and try to trade Moss or Johnson in a package deal with Ware and/or Buckhalter and /or Westbrook for a top notch WR or a couple good ones. Do not accept a trade for one run of the mill WR. In my league Gage, Galloway and Wade are all on the waiver wire. I also picked up Kevin curtis from there. Make sure you get a WR who will not ever be on the waiver wire. Fitzgerald, Marshall, Wayne + a handful of others for example.
I might even consider trading Buckhalter and Westbrook together in one deal. Here's my thinking. The problem with Buckhalter is that he has so much value if Westbrook is not playing and the problem with Westbrook is that his injury (broken ribs) takes so long to properly repair. Ribs can't be immobilized and they can't be splinted. The best you can do is wrap them and try to prevent movements that re-injure or cause pain. It will be very easy to re-injure them especially with the life of an NFL RB. The main problem here is that Westbrook (and therefore Buckhalter) will be very hard to predict this year. As long as the injury is active, who starts, who gets the goaline runs who get the most action will be exceedingly difficult to predict. I think it will be rare for a Westbrook to outright sit out, but I also think it will be rare for him to play the lion's share of the downs. With your RBs, you can't afford to play both Westbrook and Buckhalter because doing so means sitting Jones-Drew, Slaton and Ward. It all adds up to unpredicability and leaving points on the bench.

I just pulled off a massive trade in one of my leagues. Please tell me what you think.
Gave up:
P.Manning
S.Holmes (PIT)
J.Stewart (CAR)
Fargas
A.Gonzalez (IND)
Shockey
I got:
T.Romo
R.Brown (MIA)
T.Houshmanzadeh
Addai
Garrard
I think I came out the clear winner in the deal - but I am taking a risk with Romo and Addai being hurt. My RBs are now Peterson, Jones-Drew, Brown, Addai and S.Young (DEN) so even if Addai is hurt the rest of the year I still have a bunch of really good backs.

Pittman has a hand in my fate as well. My opponent has him, but I have Cassel & Welker tonight, and I'm down by 6.
I hate to say it, but I hope you get it right, Gibson.
you made out like a bandit. surprised it didn't get vetoed by the league. injured or not, you're getting 3 of the 4 best players in the trade.Originally posted by: TangoJuliet

did the team that lost have a valid complaint or is he just bitter?

hey i have a league ethics question for you guys
we have one team in our league who's playing fantasy football for the first time. never really watched football in their lives, but we needed an owner to round out the league so they gave it a shot.
Today at work the commish said he noticed that this team was starting two injured players and a player on bye week. he texted them saturday night to check their lineup. they made some moves and ended up winning this week. this didn't sit too well with the guy on the losing end. I didn't think the commish did anything wrong since he didn't go in and change their lineup himself.
